Students’ Leadership

Grade 5 teachers are proud to see students as growing leaders. The current unit allowed them to develop their skills to take initiatives in various areas such as meeting/communicating with the preschool teachers, administration staff, the school nurse and above all with the preschoolers for whom they are going to organize the Sports Day as their summative Assessment. Students are very excited to lead a role of facilitators and are enjoying their autonomy. They planned/ designed exciting activities for the preschooler keeping their age and abilities in mind.

Students also wrote invitation letters for the parents of the preschoolers which they have learnt in the letter-writing unit of English Language. They designed colourful posters to market the event and their stations too. Overall, this unit enhanced their multiple skills and boosted their confidence as a whole.
